Serenade of the Seas- 12th June 2013 (12 night Mediterranean Greek Isles). Advice!

Hi everyone, we are brand new here. We are going on the Serenade of the Seas in just over a month's time! Have only been on one cruise before, several years ago on Ocean Village 2 and absolutely loved it so can't wait to go on another. But obviously as we are still 'new' to cruising we could do with as much advice and guidance as possible. We need to book excursions soon, so any help from previous experiences of how to do it yourself to cut costs, etc, would be hugely appreciated. Our itinerary is as follows:

Cannes, France

Livorno (Florence/Pisa), Italy[/url]

At Sea

Athens (Piraeus), Greece

Ephesus (Kusadasi), Turkey

Amazing itinerary, with lots of wonderful places that we can't wait to visit. So if you can help us in any way we would very much appreciate it! If you have been to any of the places and would recommend what to do/what to see or if you have been on the ship before and can tell us things to do, see, etc that would be brilliant. I'm afraid I have no advice for you on this one but if you go over to the roll call boards you can see who is on your sailing and "meet" fellow cruisers. You may get some answers there. Good luck!

I have been researching Rome tours and have decided on Rome In Limo and will do the 9hr Rome Highlights if you are interested on sharing that tour with us. Hi we are this cruise and its our first so we are very much in the same boat so to speak we are two Aussies on a big trip we will also be cruising the Caribbean in July on the Jewell. we will be accommodated on the 8th deck on both ships so we may see you guys on board
