Where have the Early Saver rates gone?

It works if you are logged out

 

Log out of Carnival then do a search for your cruise

Mine says

 

Early Saver Fall Sale

 

I never seen the Fall Sale before.

 

Weird thing is I booked casino rate and that is all i see when I am logged in , so maybe they are playing with somethings on the backend

Didn't work for me when I logged out. But my cruise isn't till March 2014. Hope this is just a glitch, I was really looking forward to some price drops. I only get one choice of rates for either being signed in or out.

perhaps the super saver rate is taking place of early saver. non-refundable deposit. I can see carnival doing away with this. royal doesn't have a early saver fare and they sell out just fine. IF this is the case is it a bummer? yeah. but carnival is a business and this is a tough economy

 

tell that to RCI and NCL. They are selling out at a higher per diem in this tough economy.

I noticed too.

 

I hope they aren't nixing Early Saver. But I am probably part of the reason they would. Most of my price drops for my recent cruise was after final payment. We ended up with so much OBC that I received $58 back the last night. They probably didn't profit from me.

just checked our 3/29/14 cruise and early saver is gone....how does that work when I want to check and see if I should get an adjustment (we booked early saver 4D & a 8A with a past guest in each cabin)-should I now be looking at past guest only rates to use??:confused:

 

I noticed the early saver was gone when checking the price for my Jan, 2014 cruise. BUT I did notice that the past guest rate was $20 less then my previous ES rate, so I put in for a price adjustment and I got it!

 

I don't know what's going on either, but I am addicted to OBC!! ;)

It looks like the only sailings that aren't showing an ES rate are after Dec 31, 2013. I pulled up numerous different ships/iteneraries/dates and as far as I can tell, all the sailings prior to that date still show the Early Saver Fall Sale price. Being that the sale is only good for sailings through 12/31/13, is it possible that it is interfering with the regular ES rate?

I noticed last month that the early saver was back for my cruise in June. Should not have been but it stayed there for 2 days at a price 2000.00 more than past guest. Think their IT department is still run by LaLa Loopsy! It appears to be much like our weather here in Indiana--wait a few minutes if you don't like it-it is bound to change.

Same here as well, I check that thing like a Hawk and thought it was just me , glad everyone is seeing it and its not in my head, lol

The issue is that cruises after December 2013 are not showing Early Saver. Early Saver is showing up for cruise from September thorugh December as "Early Save Fall Sale".

 

It has been confirmed several times today by The Brand Ambassador™ that it's a computer glitch - they are working on it and it should be resolved at any time.

I've been looking to book the Elation on Early Saver, and it hasn't been showing up online regardless of if I'm signed in or not.

 

I just hung up with a cruise vacation specialist at Carnival's 800 number, and she gave me the early saver rates and said they aren't going anywhere. Just a glitch with the website.
