negc Posted May 26, 2013 #26 Share Posted May 26, 2013 I agree!! You should continue to sail on Celebrity - it is the best for the casino w/o smokers!!! All non smokers should sail Celebrity!!! I disagree. All non-smokers should sail RCI and since a majority of folks are non-smokers, there will be fewer smokers onboard to stink up the casino and other areas of the ship.:) At a minimum, Jewel's policy should be instituted fleetwide. Don't think so. Just sail celebrity and you will have NO issues. :)
JoMoe Posted February 22, 2016 #28 Share Posted February 22, 2016 Does anyone have any new information on smoking on formal nights in the casino on RC? We took a cruise in 2015 and they did allow it. I hoped they did not allow it because it is frustrating to have an expensive suit on and have to worry about getting it all smokey. Some say just stay away from the casino, but that they have large openings into common areas. On all the RC Freedom and Voyager class ships there is a staircase in the middle of the casino that leads into the middle of the promenade. Lots of smoke exits the casino and into the promenade. All public areas of RC ships are supposed to be smoke free. However, with a staircase in the middle of the smoking section that leads to the big public area, the promenade is not smoke free. At least if they do not allow it on formal nights, we could hang out on the promenade. Thanks
Artemus Posted February 22, 2016 #29 Share Posted February 22, 2016 Does anyone happen to know if the Texas Hold'em poker tables on Oasis are in the smoking or nonsmoking section? I know Texas Hold'em tables are almost always nonsmoking at the tables themselves.

lattelady Posted February 23, 2016 #33 Share Posted February 23, 2016 There was a non-smoking night on the Liberty a couple of weeks ago. I didn't take note of whether there were two. I also didn't note what time it was over.
doones2 Posted February 23, 2016 #34 Share Posted February 23, 2016 On our 2013 cruise on the Brilliance of the Seas there was a no smoking policy on formal nights. We noticed there was a lot more people in the casino when there was no smoking. It was enjoyable.
