Help Needed: Transportation for Early AM Flight

My family is staying in San Marco area by Giglio Stop (Vaporetto #1 line) a few nights after our cruise over.

 

Need help for son who has a flight departing at 7:40 am on a Sunday morning. Looks like too early for Alilaguna Line or vaporetto).

 

Does anyone have any ideas less expensive than a water taxi? The rest of our family does not leave until 2 hours later and was looking to not get up at the crack of dawn for all to share a taxi:eek:

The night N line runs all night but doesn't stop at Giglio. He would have to find his way to S samuele or San Marco. N line goes to P. Roma where he would get the express bus or a taxi.

ATVO, the airport express bus leaves Piazzale Roma at 5:40am and gets to the airport within 15-20 minutes. I think it's 6E.

You could also consider spending the last night at a hotel near the airport.
