Cinders411 Posted June 12, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 12, 2013 Hello. This is my first post on the RC board as we have taken Carnival cruises up till now. Next year I would like to try RC and book the Freedom of the Seas. I understand that you cannot join the Crown & Anchor Society until after your first cruise. Do you still get credited for the points from your first cruise? I would like to try a balcony or a jr suite but, may not if I would be wasting the points I might accumulate. Should I book the more expensive cabin after I sail the first time or will they add the points from the first cruise? Thank you.

Yes, you get points for every Royal cruise you take, whether you have joined C&A or not. If fact, if you took a Royal cruise years ago, they will give you credit for that too. You can join C&A onboard your cruise also.

Just sign up for C&A on your cruise. You get 1 cruise point per night for an inside, oceanview or balcony cabin. You get 2 cruise points per night for a JS or higher.
