melbkat11 Posted June 30, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 30, 2013 We are off to the South Pacific islands, Just a question, when you go snorkling/swimming, what do you do with your personal belongings (sign and sail card, money, camera etc) ? I'm not keen at all on leaving them unattended on the beach. Thanks! Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app
paul929207 Posted June 30, 2013 #2 Share Posted June 30, 2013 Leave everything you can in the cabin. Get a waterproof fanny pack to keep the other stuff. If you happen to be with a group, you can take turns watching each others stuff

Rare Keith1010 Posted June 30, 2013 #4 Share Posted June 30, 2013 Take little with you and be sure that one of you watches it or you take a waterproof fanny pack. Keith
Rare Scrapnana Posted July 1, 2013 #5 Share Posted July 1, 2013 Consider a KYSS bag. http://www.kyssbags.com/
cb at sea Posted July 1, 2013 #6 Share Posted July 1, 2013 Bring a disposable camera...no one wants your photos...just expensive equipment! Creditcards, your cabin key, and even cash can get wet! Water won't hurt them. Put them in a velcroed pocket if you must take them with you. If you're on an excursion, leave them in the bus/boat...whatever transportation you have. If you're actually snorkeling way offshore, bring the stuff with you. If you're just "taking a dip"...then you can watch your stuff while you're in the water.
