I will want to get some Canadian money in Halifax. Can someone tell me the closest bank to the pier or the Via station where we are renting our car? Thank you very much.

There are ATMs everywhere.

The attached google map shows the "official" locations of various ATM's. I'm pretty sure there are others that are closer.

That map is out of date. I know there is an ATM at the Seaport Farmers Market which is very close to the cruise terminal.

You are correct, there appear to be three of them there if the attached PDF is correct. There also appears to be one in the Garrison Brewing building.
