Compare Holland America to Princess itenerary for south americal

We are trying to decide between choosing Holland America Zaandam with golden princess for South America. Princess does not list details of scenic cruising and Holland America does. How can we find out if the sites shown are similar?

I assume the question is about scenic cruising at Cape Horn, Straight of Magellan and the Chilean Fjords rather than port calls. HAL and some other lines give very specific details as to their projected course through Patagonia, while Princess does not. The answer is that any and all scenic cruising--how close you can approach Cape Horn, how far inland up the fjords you will sail--is totally dependant on the weather conditions which can be extremely variant from day to day. Golden Princess is also a much larger ship than Zaandam; her deeper draft could mean fewer close approaches to land. And with 500+ more passengers things could move very slow if the weather is playing up at a tender port. That said, having done the 'round the horn sailing on Celebrity Infinity I would choose the larger ship--Golden Princess has a huge amount of open deck space for the scenic cruising days, a large covered pool area should one day be too cold or rainy, and more and better dining options for port days where everyone is looking to eat breakfast and dinner at the same time.
