Millennium Penthouse Suite

Anyone recently had one of these suites? Have not been able to find much current info, photos etc. on the boards.....

The M-Class Penthouse Suites are truly amazing. Only problem is once you sail in one it is so hard doing a lesser stateroom on a future cruise!

We have been in the Penthouse two time now. It is incredible as Gonzos photos show. We absolutely loved it and as said, it is now very difficult to even think about returning to the Aqua Class rooms. The penthouse and balcony is larger Than many people's apartments. If you have a chance to book it and can afford to, do not hesitate. It is AWESOME

Just curious, how much privacy do you have with the balconies above overlooking your balcony?

Some of the furniture in the photos looked a little worn. Was this the case?

Small world with this Cruise Critic thing. They were our trivia team mates on our Transatlantic last fall.

They are great people; we met them on our first Celebrity cruise and have remained friends.

You can kind of tell from the shaded portion of the picture; that shaded area is under an overhang of the balcony above, so private. The part in the sun is in view of people's balconies on the decks above. The balcony is so massive (over 1,000 square feet) that there is plenty of privacy if that is what you want, but a large chunk is not private. The hottub is in a private section.

The furniture definitely was not new, but was by no means unsightly; it was completely functional and very comfortable. This was in May of 2012, so since more than a year has passed it is possible some of the furniture has been replaced.

Here is a close up of some of the balcony furniture:

The third photo, outside shot of the deck. Building in the background is, I believe the RC Headquarters Bldg. At least it has the Company's logo "Crown and Anchor" sign on it???

Thanks, I've seen it now. However, not really my fault I hand't seen it before. When I view this thread, that photo is not showing until after your post. I do not see it until post #14! I know that there have been some problems with CC recently but I thought that it was something different. Really strange!

I mean you get a little kitchen with a full refrigerator, microwave and tons of wine glasses. How could it get any better? Oh yeah, a deck that you could park a few cars on. Make sure you wave to the people who are hanging out in decks above the penthouse and make it seem like it is a difficult life. lol

Put the M-Class PH kitchen/butler's pantry and balcony with the rest of the S-Class PH. Then you get a main bathroon large enough to roll the piano into and still have a party in there, a larger bedroom and much, much more light. Or am I just being greedy?

Still yet to stay in a M-Class PH [have only visited so roll on November] but absolutely loved the PH on Eclipse. Until we have done both, I will reserve judgement on position. Ideally, it would be central as on the S-Class but with the ability to lean over the balcony and watch the aft wake !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have this booked for our upcoming Sydney - Singapore cruise. Originally we had a RS booked but then the prices for the PS dropped so we changed. There were a couple of reasons for the change, other than the price drop, we love a rear balcony and on this ship you almost get a rear half deck, also our daughter who will turn 1 on the cruise won't be able to use any of the pools so the hottub on deck will be good for her.

Has anyone got any experience with tendering while in a suite? Is the priority tender service really priority?

We have only been at a tender port once on a Celebrity cruise. Our butler brought us priority tender tickets before we docked. We did not have to request them. When we were ready, we went to the cinema [as directed] where there were three members of the activities crew waiting [and no one else]. They radioed to the tender and we were escorted there to find that the tender departure had been held for us. We were walked past the queue of people waiting to board the next tender and boarded.

The system worked for us but it was a lttle embarrassing and we were not exactly popular with the waiting guests or the tender crew! As we were in no particular hurry and, if we would have known how it would be, we may not have used the priority service.

I hope it wasn't for the Panamal Canal in September as I hesitated ONE day and now it's gone! THAT will teach me!

 lol no, I didn't steal your cabin. We are booked for in May 2014, Japan to Vancouver.

  • 3 months later...

So happy you posted these! Thank you Felix for sharing these with me, I had a hard time finding current pictures. We booked the PH and connecting suite (for the kids) for our Alaskan cruise July 2013. I love having cocktail/dinner parties, and this space will be perfect! Of course, I still need to convince my husband that hosting a party is a good thing! :D
