Stavanger - is it too much to do 3 hr Rodne & HOHO bus?

Recommended Posts

we were there 7 hrs. and took HOHO bus, then stopped and saw various sites(like Petro Museum,Old town, etc). It picked us up near port(could see it )..It was cool and rainy and sort of glad we didnt book any outside activity.I think it may be TOO MUCH to do both, would miss some of the port hi lites.Great town, have fun either way.;)

You can walk to most of the sights in Stavanger. I didn't even see a HOHO bus.

I didn't see a HOHO bus either and don't know why you would need one since the "tourist area" is not that large and easily walkable. We had time to explore the area with the scenic old houses and the cathedral before taking the 10:00 Rodne cruise. After that, we visited the old tower, did some shopping, and spent quite a bit of time at the Petroleum Museum. I don't know why you wouldn't have time to do the cruise as well as visit most every place else!
