which dining room? would like to avoid Horizon if possible. I had read it was Portifina but wanted to ensure that was still the case. TIA:)

It will be listed in the embarkation day Patter. Most likely it will be the dining room near the Atrium on deck 6.

 

Remember that the dining room will only be open until 1:30 PM.

It was the Portofino when we cruised in May. No one seemed to know about it so there was hardly anyone in there. The lunch was fantastic, though!

We always like to have the dining room lunch on embarkation. This is our first time out of Seattle with the "staggered" boarding. If we follow it, the dining room will be closed. We are Elite Circle members - how is the boarding policed?

We are Elite and plan to get to the port as early as possible. Last time we sailed out of Seattle, Elites and Plats boarded first. There won't be that many of us on board.(Elites)

By contrast, the Pub Lunch on sea days will be found in the Schedule for late morning. Not in the back-page Dining Guide.

 

For us, it's a must-do kickoff event to start our cruise. We get our Soda Stickers from the waiter during lunch too!
