Recommendations for tranasportation to port

We are staying at the Holiday Inn in Ft. Lauderdale on State Rd 84. There is 7 of us. Looking for the cheapest transportation to the Port. Taxi or call a shuttle? Recommendations appreciated.

2 taxi cabs is probably going to be the cheapest and most convenient. Shouldn't be more than about $20 per cab. I think all the shuttles are at least $8 pp. This way you go when you want and don't have to be in the heard with everyone else.

I just booked a private van from a local van service in Fort Lauderdale. 5 people @ $6 per person. 5-9 people are the same price pp; 10+ is cheaper. I do not think we are allowed to post companies on here (advertising?), so send me an email and I will reply with the company I used.
