Seminole Hard Rock to Cruiseport

I was thinking of staying at the Seminole Hard Rock pre-cruise. We don't get there until 5:30p.m. and I'm wondering if it will be worth the extra bucks to stay there versus the Embassy Suites or Hilton. Also wondering how far it is from the port?

In my opinion, no.

 

The Hard Rock is over 9 miles from the port, so that is about a $40 cab ride each way.

It is possibly worth the extra money if gambling is very important to you. The hotel is nice, a dozen restaurants are on the grounds, and the casino is perhaps 10 times larger than your ship's casino.
