Glaciers Posted August 6, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 6, 2013 There is a liquor store across the street on 5th Ave. Downtown Wine & Spirits The closest full serve grocery store is New Sagaya City Market about 7 blocks south. An easy 15 minute walk.

Northern Aurora Posted August 6, 2013 #5 Share Posted August 6, 2013 I forgot to ask if you know of good restaurant near captain cook hotel.thank you The Captain Cook is within easy walking distance to a number of restaurants, including Simon & Seaforts, Orso, Glacier Brewhouse and Humpys. Also, one of my favorite restaurants in Anchorage for a casual meal is located in the Captain Cook -- Fletchers.
Glaciers Posted August 8, 2013 #6 Share Posted August 8, 2013 (edited) thank you.thats not far.I forgot to ask if you know of good restaurant near captain cook hotel.thank you The Cook also has a shuttle that goes to the airport and drives within one block of New Sagaya. Although it's $12 to the airport they may be able to drop you off on their way. Edited August 8, 2013 by Glaciers

phabric Posted November 23, 2013 #8 Share Posted November 23, 2013 I will ask them otherwise will just walk to sagaya market.thank you. Our cruise tour in August 2014 starts with a hotel stay at the Captain Cook. I have reserved a room for the day before the cruise tour starts. How did you enjoy your stay at the hotel? How did you get to or from airport to hotel?
