Sunday Football in Port Canaveral

There is a resteraunt /bar in Port Canaveral called Fish Lips. Upstairs in the bar is a great place where people gather to watch the games with some great local food!

Thanks ! Do you know how far from the ship it is ? Is it walkable or will we need a taxi ?

Saw on line that it is in a complex near the port but couldn't find distance.

Thanks again.

will be in Port Canaveral on a Sunday in Nov. and am looking for a sports bar type restaurant to watch football, hopefully NFL Ticket. Any suggestions ?

Thanks !

Anne

What team do you want to watch? Florida will be heavily featured in many bars so if you aren't a Bucs, Dolphins, or Jaguars fan, you may be SOL.

You will need to take a taxi. The ships dock on the north end of the port, and all the restaurants are on the south side. There's no way to walk over. They may offer a port shuttle, or you can take a taxi over for just a few dollars.

We always go to the Shark Pit to watch the games. It is in Cocoa Beach at the Cocoa Beach Surf Company. They show all games. Just tell the hostess what games you want to watch and they will seat you so you can see the game.

Not sure if they are going to do it this year but if you wear your teams jersey and they score you get a free draft beer. They usually offer food specials as well.

If you are on a ship visiting see if they have a shuttle down to Ron Jons. Shark Pit is right next door.

Last year we were in Port Canaveral for back to back cruises.....during the day in between our two cruises. We went to Fishlips and watched the game.....our Chicago Bears were on.

It was a great place to watch the game and to enjoy the sunset at the same time

If you want to get REALLY drunk, wear a jersey for whatever team my Bucs are playing. You'll get gallons of free beer that way. :(

Being in Florida on Sunday's? I live here too....usually the sportsbars have

large dishes and you can find any NFL game on.....not just the

Florida teams.....and this coming season? We will probably have 3 of

the worst teams in league:rolleyes:
