lanceholt Posted August 20, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 20, 2013 We are on the Dawn Repo cruise Nov. 1 to Tampa. We've been wondering how many days to expect to be chilly at the start of the cruise?

martyandjanice Posted August 20, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 20, 2013 We here in Tampa have had a very hot hot hot summer. I don't know what the Fall will bring, but I would say you will start feeling warmer air when you get around South Carolina/GA. Enjoy your trip! By the second morning it is a normal carribean cruise.
rvsullivan Posted August 20, 2013 #5 Share Posted August 20, 2013 When you leave Boston the ship goes straight to the Gulf Stream. Within a matter of hours you will reach warmer water. First morning of sailing you should be in warmer water/weather.

hladygirl Posted August 21, 2013 #7 Share Posted August 21, 2013 Saturday should be cool. You will be able to sit by the pool in a sweater. The next day should be warm and people sitting by the pool.

BrPanthers99 Posted August 21, 2013 #9 Share Posted August 21, 2013 I was on the ill fated Jewel Hurricane Sandy Cruise which left 10/21 from NY to FL. We left NY Sunday and it was cool, but by the next morning, maybe 10-11am we had to go change from jeans into shorts. We were surprised how fast it warmed up. Granted, we went from NY to FL in 1 1/2 days so by the next day we were in the Carolinas.

How hot were the days?? If this question was directed at me the answer is the weather was B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L! The only rain was transitting from Cozumel to Tampa. At that point who cares. 80's during the day and not much cooler at night.
