Oceania & Princess Cruise Line

I would like to know what is the reason that Oceania Cruise Line makes a stop at Princess Cays? Is it the same Princess Cay that belongs to Princess? Today in the mail I received a brochure from Oceania called" Oceania Cruises The Americas 2013-2014. On page 43 there is a cruise from Miami (round trip) 12/12/13 that has Princess Cays as a port of call? Is this something new?

It is the same Princess Cays. Princess leases it to Oceania as they're too small to have their own private island and if Princess doesn't have a ship there, why not, income is income :)

Cruise lines are beginning to do this. MSC Divina makes some calls at Great Stirrup Cay and Half Moon Cay. Carnival makes some at Little Stirrup Cay. EM

Doesn't Cunard also use Princess Cays at times?

I learned something new too. While Princess Cays is nice I most times don't get off at private islands.

One of my friends did a Regent Cruise and it stopped at Princess Cay also...as said, money is money! ;)
