I've never heard or read about someone's cruise getting cancelled for being a few days late, but I would call them to be sure.

The website says they reserve the right to cancel ... I don't know when they actually do -- I wouldn't risk it. Perhaps you should contact them to make arrangements in advance.

If you know on day X-5 that you won't be able to make final payment on Day X, the true final payment date, call BEFORE Day X and ask for a few extra days.

 

Do NOT wait until the final payment date to call.

They would cancel your cruise. You need to communicate with Royal! Don't wait until the last minute :)

Most travel agents require you to pay them before the RCCL final payment date. That has been my experience.

It depends on the agent. They do not all operate the same way.

It might, why take the risk as you will loose the full deposit amount if it is cancelled by RCI.:eek:

There is usually some kind of a grace period, but it would be behoove you to be proactive about it, and tell the TA or royal direct if you are booked directly with them that you need a few more days to make final payment.

Thanks for your responses. I am already paid in full but others in my group haven't made any payments. Although final payment is still 3 months away I want to have the info to pass along to the others in my group.
