If you have dreamed of cruising Tahiti...heres your chance..

Recommended Posts

Unheard of prices are available at the moment for the Pacific Princess , March 2014 , sailings in Tahiti.

They are on the Princess website , now , but may not be for long at these amazing prices.

You would need to check out dates to coordinate with flights, keeping in mind the Date Line, and any overnight Hotel stays that may be required. Hotels are not cheap in Tahiti, but the savings on the cruise more than make up for it.

$1699/person for 10 nights - inside - doesn't seem particularly cheap...?

Yeah that's what I thought :S

Maybe the price has gone up since :/

You must be joking or you do not realise how expensive Tahiti is.

That price would not even get you 2 nights in an over the water bungalow.

At the prices they are quoting the balcony is the best buy.

Cruised to Tahiti last year and had a wonderful time.

I received this special from Princess the other day and agree. The price is fantastic. Problem may be getting a cheap flight to Tahiti.

If I didn't have something else booked for next year I would be very tempted.

Cheers

Deb

I also got the special from Princess and hubby said " yes check that out" so.... Full of excitement I checked the airfares.... :( over $2000 each . Melbourne - Sydney- Auckland - Tahiti . Could go to Europe cheaper than that!

So ... I will be looking at Hawaii - Sydney with a Tahiti stopover instead.

Thats right...plus depending on the timing of the flights you may require a Hotel.

In Papeete they used to start at around $250per night...and that's just backpackers:rolleyes:

Is it any wonder they have to discount the cruise .

When Rennaisance were operating R3 and R4 (Pacific and Tahitian Princess) they had to charter their own planes to fly passengers down for the cruise. They flew from Hawaii and they chartered planes that were ALL Business Class as an attraction to get customers.;)

I know what Tahiti land prices are like.

But in the cruise world, the price isn't special. You could say it's a good deal compared to land though.
