Ok the last time I was on a cruise was in 2004 wow long time ago when I think about that! Anyhow there was a midnight buffett.. the carvings and displays they had were amazing!! Is this still something Royal does? If so is it offered on Allure I can't seem to find anymore info. If not its a shame it was somthing to be seen!

You can't find any info on midnight buffets because they set sail along time ago and are no longer put on. Sometimes there will be a "food expo" or something similar to that which is like a buffet just not at midnight.

The problem with the midnight buffet is that a lot of people took photos but didn't eat the food.

Some ships have a late night pool BBQ once per cruise where there will be an ice carving or two, however I did not see that when we were on Allure. The way the pools are cut up on Allure, I can see it would be hard to gather many guests in one pool area.

As a recent passenger on the Allure of the Seas, I can say with certainty that the Midnight Buffet as we once knew it, is no more! I recall all the years that I sailed with a midnight buffet offered. It was enjoyable, especially the photo op! I can't imagine attending one any more as the foods available at the dinners in the MDR, specialty restaurants and snack options in the Royal Promenade tend to negate for me the excitement or need to have this time-honored offering any longer.

Correct Oasis/Allure doesn't offer this pool party one night buffet
