cruisinmeme Posted September 26, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 26, 2013 i have done the online check in and printed edoc's. This is the first time it didn't ask for credit card info for onboard purchases. Is that no longer being done? It has been 10 months since we have sailed ncl and we did it then. Novastar Posted September 26, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 26, 2013 That will be done at the pier when you check in there.
rvsullivan Posted September 26, 2013 #3 Share Posted September 26, 2013 The only credit card info I've given in the last few years has been for the cruise fare, excursions if you sign up or dinner reservations. Ship board accounts have always been done at the pier.
cruisinmeme Posted September 26, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted September 26, 2013 I realize I will give my card at pier but I remember from the past giving that info online. I also put who had signing privilege . It seems every cruise has something different going on.
tammy531 Posted September 26, 2013 #5 Share Posted September 26, 2013 I have cruised twice with NCL and have never given that info online for the onboard account or the signing privileges. We have done that at the pier. sent from my Samsung galaxy s3
Fishbait17 Posted September 26, 2013 #6 Share Posted September 26, 2013 On none of my NCL sailings since 2007 have I ever given a credit card or assigned signing privileges on online checkin, only at the pier. Perhaps you are confusing NCL with another cruise line? Robin
sailingnut Posted September 26, 2013 #7 Share Posted September 26, 2013 not since "2008", when I cruised for the first time did I give any information out but at the pier!

Never on all of our NCL cruises since 2009 have we given card information within online check-in, only at the pier.

I've had to give the credit card info when doing the online check in on my one and only Carnival cruise, never on NCL.

Bocadude85 Posted September 26, 2013 #11 Share Posted September 26, 2013 We had to give CC info on our recent Royal Caribbean cruise but never with NCL.
cruisinmeme Posted September 27, 2013 Author #12 Share Posted September 27, 2013 Guess I was thinking of ccl. This is only my 3rd ncl cruise, have 13 with ccl. I have checked in online and printed edocs. Now it is just sit and wait for our cruise. Thanks for waking me up.
