ch27088 Posted September 26, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 26, 2013 This might be a little far-fetched as a question, but does anyone know what type of slot machine games are on the Carnival Dream. My husband and I are avid casino players and I was wondering what slot machines they have on board. The last time we went was five years ago, and slot machines have been updated. In fact, I was playing a dollar machine and the coins were still dropping into the hopper at that time, so that tells you how long ago it has been. When we last cruised, the machines I enjoyed playing was: Cleopatra, &777's, and Lucky Diamonds. I'm hoping that there are newer machines, so that we can have a variety to choose from. Thanks in advance. :D
Cruising Golfer Posted September 26, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 26, 2013 Really don't know but if you check out some reviews with pictures you might get a few shots of the casino. I do know that the ships are way behind the times on slots, but we really like the older ones...:)
okgirl Posted September 26, 2013 #3 Share Posted September 26, 2013 They have a large variety. The one's I can remember off the top of my head are the Wheel of Fortune, Run for the Money, Flaming Seven's, Monte Carlo, Pinball and lots of themed machines, some with Frog's, or princesses, Diamonds, Rocket Ships... timhoke Posted September 26, 2013 #4 Share Posted September 26, 2013 They quite a number of the newest machine as well as some of the older favorites. I am sure that you will find quite a number of ones you want play. Everything is now done on your sail & sign card. You will create a casino account on your card in the casino. You can use cash or charge it your S & S acct. Then you can use that money in the slots, when you are ready to leave a machine, it will move the credits back to the acct. Make sure that you remember to cash out your casino account on the last night. Good Luck. My last cruise in July I made almost enough off the slots to cover the whole trip. Thanks in advance. :D I will be on the Dream for the first time in 2 days, so I can't tell you exactly what slots are one there BUT I have been on 8 other Carnval cruises and, like you, spend lots of time on slots. Basically they have the same slots as land casinos, just less of them. All of the ones I've been in have Cleopatra, Cats, Kittly Glitter, Frog & Princess, Coyote Moon, Wheel of Fortune, etc. and then they also have the traditional slots (777's, Blazing 7's, those kind). You'll have a blast, and I don't think you will be disappointed in the selection - it's just that there aren't many of them, so you may have to wait around to play certain machines. Boozebabe Posted September 26, 2013 #7 Share Posted September 26, 2013 On the Breeze last week and spent LOTS of time in the casino. Way too many different ones to identify. But the ship casinos are about a step behind big land based casinos. And they were paying well. I heard and saw a $1500. - $2900. - $7500. - $20,000. winners in the evening and heard about more during the day.
