cruising on Indy in Feb

We will be on the Independence this Feb. We are taking our teenage girls (18 and 19) who are on reading break from university (Canada) . Was wondering if it will have other kids their age? I believe most other schools have their break in March.

Breaks in the US are all over the place anymore. February may be a bit early but there will probably be some other teens on board.

 

Check to see if there is a roll call for your sailing and find out if there are others from Cruise Critic. Click here for the Indy roll call board and look for your date.

Probably your best bet would be to post this on the Roll Call for your sailing date and talk with other people sailing with you on that cruise.

Spring break times vary from mid February through the end of April. in Ontario March break for elementary schools is the second week of March but Reading week for colleges and Universities is in February.

 

As breaks vary there will more than likely be other kids around the same age for yours to socialize with particularly cruises of 7 nights or less.

There are always people (and kids) of all ages. Of course there will probably be more later when spring break kicks in.

By February there will be some high school seniors who have graduated early. Plus there is home schooling that has something like 1.2 million kids.

 

I cruise in the off peak times and have always seen school and college age kids on board.

We are on the Feb. 15 sailing on Indy. Were from Buffalo, NY and my daughter has her mid winter break.
