When tendering, tickets are distributed early in the morning by number. If you want to be first off, I would suggest you get there early for a low number. Information on tendering will be supplied in the Cruise Compass.

on our recent cruise not only did you REQUIRE tender tickets, priority went to ship sponsored excursions and then suite guests.

 

not that it mattered. Bar Harbor was canceled due to unsafe conditions for us.

Even without a ticket, the tenders move pretty quick and boy can they pack them in.

I just love getting off one in rough seas, attached to the dock or ship it still catches your attention.
