Liberty- Hooking iPad/iphone to stateroom tv?

We like to load up some favorite movies/shows on the iPad/iPhone and some night we like to relax in the stateroom and watch them in the evenings.

Is it possible to hook up an iPad/iPhone to the stateroom television on the Liberty?

If so, can some 'geek' tell me what type of cable i need? HDMI? other?

The input connectors on the televisions are disabled.

I have read that people have had success in enabling the disabled ports with a universal remote that they have brought from home. No idea on cables needed. Edited October 7, 2013 by Ourusualbeach

Would it work if you brought Apple TV ?

It would depend in which Apple TV. I was told that the newer Apple TV will only work connected to the network (expensive on a ship). The first gen has a hard drive and could store some content so that might work. You would want to test by turning off your home network and see if it would still load content.

I have an iPad to HDMI cable as well as a Composite cable (red, white, and yellow)
