FTTF - Your Time Dining Question

The Carnival website states FTTF guests receive "priority main dining room and speciality reservations".

Does this mean that if you have Your Time Dining you will be moved to the front of the line waiting to be seated? That line can be LONGGGG on Formal Night.

FTTF simply gives you priority on your dining time reservation, it doesn't put you at the front of the line at dinner. It basically means you would not get wait listed if the specific dining time you picked (whether it be early, late, or YTD) was particularly popular during that cruise.

Rirruto is correct.

Nobody gets to move to the front of the line.

Not even Milestone or Platinums.

Only obscene amounts of cash to the maitre d or....as I once saw, complain loudly and incessantly about how RCI doesn't make you wait.

Then you might get moved up to the front of the line.

That should put you at the end of the line!!!

You may still get waitlisted if a particular dining time is full, but you would have preference over those who are not Platinum or FTTF should a slot become available. I believe Diamond are guaranteed their choice?

When FTTF first came out, the dining staff on the Ecstasy were going down the wait line checking everyone's Sail and Sign card. We were told to come with them and were escorted to the head of the line and immediately seated. Talk about being unpopular LOL And the thing is, we didn't expect nor request this service. I was afraid we had violated some unknown dress code and were being shooed away from the MDR :D
