live2dive45 Posted October 17, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 17, 2013 Does anyone know the brand of coffee that is provided in Haven suites? We are in S4 cat on Epic this sunday. And is it in bean or ground form? Leaving for Barcelona today so a quick reply would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Demonyte Posted October 17, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 17, 2013 It's in pods for the Lavazza machine - can't remember the brand but there are few different strengths plus some teas.

WaldosPepper Posted October 17, 2013 #5 Share Posted October 17, 2013 Do they provide real milk or cream to makes lattes? Can the machine steam or froth milk? Thanks, Alison Yes, they will provide whatever you request. The machine is equipped beautifully to produce whatever you desire, and the steam unit is very easy to use. Counting the days until my next Lavazza cappuccino! :D

Counting the days until my next Lavazza cappuccino! :D The coffee used is also Lavazza and its one of the best espresso beans out. They lose money on us with this coffee machine as we don't drink much liquor but are cappuccino addicts. We also have similar machine at home and its paid for itself in no time as we don't buy coffee outside of home. It also grinds the beans where as the pod systems can become quite expensive. When you get the special request letter from the pre-concierge before you cruise, you can list what kind of pods you would like. Onboard, our butler kept refilling the pods and asked us which ones we liked or what we would like to try. Have a great cruise!!!
SMerritt Posted October 17, 2013 #8 Share Posted October 17, 2013 One of the main reasons I sail on NCL!:D I Love the Lavazza, just let your butler know which pods you want - he/she will keep you well stocked.
dgparent Posted October 17, 2013 #9 Share Posted October 17, 2013 Is there a regular coffee you can make with these ? Like a breakfast blend ? I am just a regular old coffee person. Thanks.
Rare CoffeeGoddess Posted October 17, 2013 #10 Share Posted October 17, 2013 I see that the machine does steam milk. Does anyone know if the Epic has other "milks" available other than cow and soy? If not, I'll just bring my own coconut milk but if they have rice or almond milk, I could work with those.

They are all the same pods, basically regular or decaf. Have the butler show you how to make a long coffee rather than a short espresso, it's just a matter of more or less water. If you want "traditional American style" coffee, the butler can show you how to make it with the machine. They will also get you some real coffee mugs.
