WeatherFx Posted November 1, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 1, 2013 I was wondering if there are any draw backs to a D8 balcony on the Oasis. Is there any differences between deck 6 or 7. The cabins I'm considering are Aft. Thanks in advance. .
sleepless Posted November 1, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 1, 2013 I have been an a D8 cabin, and are booked in a D8 for my upcoming Allure cruise. There are no drawback as far as I can tell. It is the least expensive of the D cabins, and I believe only holds 2 people. All D catagory cabins are the same size on the Oasis and Allure. D1 cabins, are on the hump, mid ship, and have a larger balcony. I like the location of the D8 cabins. I book mine on Deck 6, just aft of the aft elevators. It is easy access to the Boardwalk, Central Park, Promenade and Main Dining Room, and even the Casino. If I were not able to get a cabin on Deck 6 off of the Boardwalk, I would not hesitate to book one on Deck 8, off of Central Park. Deck 7 would be my last choice, but still doable. I like have access to early morning coffee close by. Hope this helps.
ARCruisinNana Posted November 1, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 1, 2013 The only thing different about deck 7 is that the aft elevator lobbies are not connected.

If you are on deck 7 and come up on the wrong side, you can't get to your cabin.
