Breakfast items at Taste Bar

I've read that there is a limited breakfast buffet at the Taste Bar on Carnival ships that have it. Can anyone elaborate? I'm sailing Sunshine this month and my room is close to it...wondering if I can bring items back to my cabin to enjoy on the balcony. I'm curious what type of items are available on it? Thanks in advance for any info.

I believe the taste bar is only open 5-8 PM on sea days. They have a pretty good room service breakfast when you want to use your balcony in the morning. happy cruising

You may take food or drink anywhere....not a problem bringing stuff back to your cabin, if you wish.

This will be my first time on a ship with it, so I'm not speaking from experience. It is on a few Carnival ships and doles out tasting portions of items found in the new food venues that are rolling out. I was under the impression that it was only open for a few hours and only for this purpose, but then I saw in a review that there were limited breakfast items and lunch items there at other hours of the day. I couldn't find that review so I was trying to confirm whether this was the case on Sunshine and maybe get a little detail of what items were available.
