Windy56 Posted November 3, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 3, 2013 Hi everyone! We will be on the Breeze for a B2B in February. Food looks great and while I am eager to try the open air food venues like the burger and burrito places, I do enjoy the main dining room for lunch. I have two questions. When do the comedy brunches take place? Also, do they have main dining room open seating regular lunches, as well during the cruise? I have cruised a dozen times in the last twenty years and really like the main dining room lunch experience - not every day, but a few times during a week long cruise. Thanks, in advance! anamarieus Posted November 3, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 3, 2013 I think its called seaday brunch now. The menu sounds really delish.
Windy56 Posted November 3, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted November 3, 2013 So am I correct in assuming that there is no longer a "regular" open seating lunch in the main dining room on any days?
ready2cruzagain Posted November 3, 2013 #4 Share Posted November 3, 2013 So am I correct in assuming that there is no longer a "regular" open seating lunch in the main dining room on any days? Correct, Carnival no longer does lunch in the MDR. It is Brunch on Sea days and Breakfast on port days.
Windy56 Posted November 3, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted November 3, 2013 Skimming through various threads, it seems like they have eliminated breakfasts in the main dining room on both sea days and port days. Anyone else hear news of this? Thanks for the responses, so far. Much appreciated.
pamrose228 Posted November 3, 2013 #6 Share Posted November 3, 2013 Is this for the entire fleet or certain ships. When reading the description of the dining options for the Splendor, it states that open seating for breakfast and lunch is available in the Gold Pearl dining room. edinboro cruiser Posted November 3, 2013 #7 Share Posted November 3, 2013 I was just on the Breeze the end of August. Absolutely loved the ship and can't wait to sail her again. On sea says you have brunch. They did away with the comedy. On port days the aft Blush is open for breakfast from 7 to 9.
