Allure - Starbucks - Do they take canadian gift cards??

My husband and i are sailing on the Allure on a b2b in January...woohoo!!

 

If anyone out there is sailing on the Allure prior to this date and you happen to stop by Starbucks, could you find out if they accept Canadian Gift Cards??

 

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!!

 

I have check for previous threads on this, but there were mixed reviews and everything was quite dated.

No they only accept US Cards.. Being Canadian and seeing that on the board I had to ask, when I was onbard the Allure.

They did not take American gift cards when I was on - only Sea Pass.

Cool now we know. when I asked that was on the Oasis back in 2012. Times may have changed..

 

Who even uses Canadian Tire money , I have a tims cards in my wallet lol

Just confirmed with Royal Caribbean that Gold Cards can be used on the ship.

Just came off the Allure on Sunday and they took my (American) Starbucks gift card. I also received the points that go along with it.

Yeah, I found out the app doesn't work when I got on board back in May as they don't have the scanner. Thank goodness I had my partner card (employee) in my wallet. Didn't get my usual 30% discount but did get stars for my drinks. :D
