When I called the C. Club to finish the booking they said they new nothing about a cruise with the Rangers. I asked them to please check on it for me, she came back on the phone about 15 min. later telling me no one knows anything about it. Could you tell me how to get to the Press Release page on Celebrity's web site. Thanks, willie2845 Cary

Rare hcat Posted November 11, 2013 #32 Share Posted November 11, 2013 Odd partnership to me b/c no Celebrity ships have an ice rink on board and they pretty much lack a true sports bar...but the selling and marketing goes on!

True, but it makes as much sense as any other sport franchise. They may be better to partnerup with a croquet or basketball franchise as these can be played onboard (at least on the S class ships).:D
The Big Booper Posted November 12, 2013 #34 Share Posted November 12, 2013 They should run this hockey marketing on the RCI ships with an ice rink. Let selected fans skate on the ice with the retired players. Me, I would rather skate (if I could) with the 6' tall Russian and Ukraine girls who comprise the majority of the RCI skating corps. attilamom1217 Posted November 12, 2013 #36 Share Posted November 12, 2013 Hi Everyone, As a Die-Hard NY Mets fan, perhaps Celebrity should consider a marketing alliance with them. Based on the Mets performance over the past decade, it shouldn't cost them more than a few dollars, and a case of X keychains :) Yeah I know... I should have changed teams years ago, but I guess it proves my loyalty to things I'm passionate about LOL Andy - I feel your pain as a Mets fan as I, too, am a long suffering Mets fan. :( But you gotta stand by your team. Fortunately, I am also a NY Rangers fan and this cruise looks intriguing! Now if I can convince DH and DS and DIL to go along on this cruise - WOW that would be wonderful!!!! :D
