Port Everglades car rental shuttle

Budget has a rental spot right off 17th St. only 5 min or so from the port. I think they will pick you up and take you there and you can avoid the trip to the airport. From what I have heard, you need to show paperwork nowadays for most shuttles to transport you to the airport.

We rented through Dollar last weekend.

They had a free shuttle that picked you up at the port and took you to their rental location at the entrance to the port. It is shared with Thrifty. We returned the car at the FLL airport.

It's been a year since we used it, but Alamo had a shuttle from the port in Ft. Lauderdale to the FLL airport. Reserve your car in advance because they may ask for paperwork before letting you on the shuttle. We used the Alamo shuttle from the port of Miami to the MIA airport just a couple weeks ago so I know that one is operating.
