Rare MillbrookMom Posted November 20, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 20, 2013 Does anyone know if they have a scale in the gyms on board (specifically EOS)? I am on a 6 month fitness program that is a case study. I will have specific workouts to do while I'm gone, and it requires a weekly weigh in, measurements and progress pics. I know I can handle two of the 3, just wondering if there is a scale to check my weight as well. Thanks,
The Sunset Glow Posted November 20, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 20, 2013 Yes they do. They are the type you would see at the doctor's office. I go to the gym whenever on board but never use the scales as I just don't want to know the damage until I get home.:p
redcard Posted November 20, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 20, 2013 You will weigh more due to the effects of gravity, so don't think they'll be much use!

Or, did you forget to insert an emoticon indicating this is humour? sorry, hard to tell on the internet :)
Tiggertastic Posted November 20, 2013 #5 Share Posted November 20, 2013 I was following a routine last year and the staff told me that the scales are not accurate because of the motion of the ship and to come and use them once the ship has docked or before it leave again

Dharma517 Posted November 20, 2013 #7 Share Posted November 20, 2013 I just got off explorer and the scale is kept in the mirrored room where they do the seminars and spin classes etc. I actually found it to be quite accurate. I just stayed on it for 30 seconds or so to see if the swaying made a difference. Not exact by any means but generally it is ok.
sjb317 Posted November 20, 2013 #8 Share Posted November 20, 2013 I always find that the scale is more accurate at the beginning of a cruise, by the end the scale is way off!:D Sherri:)
lenquixote66 Posted November 20, 2013 #9 Share Posted November 20, 2013 I lost 4.8 pounds since my last cruise (last month) .If I can "survive" Thanksgiving my goal is to lose 11 more pounds before my next cruise (December) .
Rare MillbrookMom Posted November 20, 2013 Author #10 Share Posted November 20, 2013 Awesome. I am down close to 20 and have just over 20 till my goal, so while I plan to have fun on this cruise, I am still planning to stick with my program.
