ihopfar Posted November 22, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 22, 2013 I found three different sample menus for Chops. Which is the most current/accurate? Sailing on the Independence of the Seas if it makes a difference. http://www.royalcaribbean.com/content/en_US/pdf/ChopsGrille_Menu_Eng.pdf http://www.royalcaribbeanincentives.com/docs/rccl-pdfs/menus.pdf http://www.royalcaribbeanpresscenter.com/press-kit/9/culinary-press-kit/ Thanks! bmac1 Posted November 22, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 22, 2013 Just got off Grandeur last Saturday and the third one down marked press kit was the exact menue we had.
nelblu Posted November 22, 2013 #4 Share Posted November 22, 2013 I was on the Serenade this past August and the first was the one. Also, I looked at the last one which included Giovanni's Table and does not resemble anything served on the Serenade, unless it's the lunch menu. nelblu Posted November 23, 2013 #6 Share Posted November 23, 2013 The last link is correct. Also, please note that that is Giovannis LUNCH menu shown. I thought so, because the brodetto was not listed in the soup section. By the way, I went on the RCL website and the cover on the menu is the first. ihopfar Posted November 23, 2013 Author #9 Share Posted November 23, 2013 Thanks to all who have responded... seems there is a consensus for #3. :) And thanks PCWalton -- those pictures appear to provide irrefutable confirmation. Thanks again, Brad
CntPAcruiser Posted November 24, 2013 #10 Share Posted November 24, 2013 It may well vary by ship, because we noted that on our recent Allure cruise, they were substituting some less expensive items for more expensive items on the main menu, at least (e.g., scallops instead of escargot; pork instead of veal for the veal Oscar). This may roll over into the specialty dining menus, perhaps.
Azreal73 Posted November 25, 2013 #11 Share Posted November 25, 2013 How frequently do the menus change, will we have a new one in January?
CntPAcruiser Posted November 25, 2013 #12 Share Posted November 25, 2013 How frequently do the menus change, will we have a new one in January? Although minor changes in offerings may occur, the base menu seems to pretty much stay the same (for most of the specialty restaurants). The lunch menu in Giovanni's was pretty much the same from our Oasis cruise three years ago to this year on Allure, for example.
