Valley church beach, Darkwood beach or Hawksbill

In Antigua next week and can't decide which beach to go to for the day. Have narrowed it down to Valley church beach, Darkwood beach or Hawksbill.

Hawksbill seems harder to access?

Any advice and does anyone know the cost of a taxi to any of them.

We had a nice beach day at Valley Church Beach.

 

We took a taxi with 4 other people. [$32 for 1-3 or $8 pp] There is only one restaurant there, The Nest. It sells food/drinks and has restrooms. It was easy to get a taxi back. We found another couple going back and shared the ride.

 

They rent chairs [$5pp] and umbrellas [$10] We rented two chairs and sat under a very shady tree.

 

Valley Church beach is not good for snorkeling. The water is not clear enough. It has a milky look--but, the sand is soft.

 

Had a very good day for a good price.

We went to Darkwood once, and have been to VCB 3 times. We will be going back to VCB on January.

We visited valley church beach last week on a P&O cruise and DragonsOfTheSeas comments were spot on. It was the best beach we visited out of any islands we visited but the water was to salty to snorkle

Ontario Cruiser - we are on the same cruise (Summit Jan 10th-17th)!! Maybe we could share a taxi. We are leaning towards Darkwood - supposed to be less crowded than Valley Church!
