Cigar lighters and cutters?

Heading out on Reflection tomorrow, brought a couple of cigars to enjoy out at the Sunset bar. How do I bring on a cutter and lighter? Wouldn't those be prohibited? I'm not a regular smoker, obviously, just like a good cigar now and then, so I'm not sure how smokers bring on lighters and such.

Unless they have changed the rules again. Which, they do on an hourly basis. Those items can be allowed in checked baggage. However, you may want to go to Celebrities web site or do a search on here. See if smoking is allowed in the Sunset bar. I don't smoke at all so I didn't pay real close attention. I think I scan a part that smoking was only allowed on one side of the ship on a certain deck. I'm sure someone with more knowledge than me will speak up on this rule.

I'll be on the Reflection tomorrow as well and I was packing some cigars and lighter last night. I usually put it in checked luggage and have not yet had an issue.

I guess I'll see you in the Sunset bar. Some CCs from the Roll Call are doing a sailaway gathering after muster in the Sunset tomorrow.

I just copied this off of Celebrities web site. Not sure if Sunset is considered a lounge or not. it is outdoors though right?? I would ask a crew member before striking up..

I'm just looking out for you guys. The anti smoking brigade can get pretty nasty with smokers. plus the 250.00 cleaning charge.. Dang!!

What is the onboard smoking policy?

For your comfort and enjoyment, our ships are designated as non-smoking; however, we recognize that some of our guests smoke. Therefore, cigarette, cigar and pipe smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas of the ship. Smoking is not permitted in any dining venue, casino, theater, lounge, hallway, elevator, or corridor. This policy includes smoking-like products such as electronic cigarettes. Smoking is not permitted inside any stateroom, nor on any stateroom veranda. If you are in violation of this policy, a cleaning fee of $250 USD will be applied to your SeaPass® account and you may be subject to further action pursuant to the "Consequences Section" of the Guest Conduct Policy. Cigarettes, cigars and pipe tobacco must be properly disposed of and never thrown overboard. You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase, possess or use tobacco onboard.

Additionally, there is a non-smoking policy on all components of the land tour portion of all Celebrity Cruises Cruisetour products. We appreciate your understanding and adherence.

I am not a smoker but I can tell you The Sunset Bar is definitely outside

and smoking portside is allowed in this area. They have ashtray's

out there for that specific purpose.

Had a friend on the Eclipse last year who had his cigar cutter confiscated when he boarded! I would highly recommend that you put it in your checked luggage when boarding, just in case. Lighters are no problem.

You may smoke your cigars up on Deck 15 at the Sunset Bar - port side. Enjoy your cruise! :D

Just pack the lighter and cutter in one of the pockets of your checked suitcase. Cigars and pipes are only permitted up on the deck by the lawn. Just to the port side of the bar itself, not at the bar. There is a nice row of comfy chairs to relax on while you enjoy your cigar.

( I am almost certain of this)

Cheers, h.

Sent from my little machine that knows way too much about me.
