I'm ready to book a Caribbean cruise on the Eclipse.

Can someone please give me their opinion on booking Sky Suite cabin #1663 located all the way in the back (aft) of the ship?

Will it be rocky, noisy, lots of vibrations, etc.?

Please help. I want to book it today.

Thank you so much!

Thank you, Fouremco.

Unfortunately, the cabin I'm asking about is not included on the spreadsheet.

I really appreciate you trying to help me out!

Happy New Year and safe travels.

Do the search then. Lots of posts, most very positive, several with photos.

Happy New Year to you too. Have a safe and enjoyable cruise!

I sailed in this cabin last February. The seas were very calm so no more rockiing than I have had in other cabins. No vibration whatsoever other than when movig sideways into a dock, then a little. No noise other than the soothing sound of the wake. This was a great, very large cabin. Enjoy.

S1's are beautiful cabins. We were in a similarly located one and thought it was outstanding. That said, if the seas are rocky, then you definitely feel it more at the end of the ship, and even more so on the corner. You get both the usual motion and more side to side rocking than in other locations. Just because someone who sails in smooth seas tells you how calm it was really means nothing if your seas are not as calm as theirs. I would do it again in a heartbeat if the price was within my means, but I have to confess there were a couple of times I was regretting it when the waves were up. But the good far outweighed the bad and I am jealous!! Enjoy.

Well, now that we've booked the Eclipse Sky Suite #1663, I'm wondering if anyone knows about the pole(s) that I see in photos in these cabins.

Some suites have one pole and some have two!

Are they an eyesore?

They look as though they are dead center in the room and/or right next to the bed.

Has anyone (sober, of course:))ever had a problem moving around the cabin?
