Royal Princess - Barge Up Against Her

The Royal Princess is in Fort Lauderdale today and when you check her on the Port Everglades webcam you can see a barge is up against her. I saw this yesterday against another cruise ship. Does anyone know what services these barges provide?

Usually not in Ft. Lauderdale. There is underground piping

from the tank farm right to the berths.

All they do is drag around a trailer mounted pump.

There's has been some construction around pier 2 so the regular system might be down.

We took on fuel oil in St Petersburg for HOURS on the Grand Princess. They also repeat the 'no smoking warnings' multiple times before and during. And my vague memory says they closed the promenade on that side during it too but not sure. I would have thought with the size of pipes it would go faster than it seemed.
