Velvet On Cruises - Let's Talk

I think it sounds beautiful. Wear it. I will be on a cruise the end of September and I will wear a sleeveless black velvet dress. I've worn it in the Western Carib. in Feb and Mexican Riveria in Jan. and I will be wearing it again.

I have two velvet dressy outfits that I wear on some of my cruises. I find it to be a very sumptuous and elegant fabric. Mine are stretch velvet, so they aren't very heavy. One is a deep purple tunic top with a matching brocade pants, and the other is a jacket dress with a black dress (cocktail length) and black/gold jacket.

 

I feel very elegant in both outfits, and I'm quite comfortable in the dining room in both of them.
