BigRed93 Posted January 4, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 4, 2014 How many days, you, as an individual, sail with carnival. Doesn't matter how many rooms you pay for. Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app
DallasGuy75219 Posted January 4, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 4, 2014 No, credit for VIFP status is based on the passengers actually occupying the room.
ccruisequeen Posted January 4, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 4, 2014 You need to book at least 10 cabins for group rate then you get some perks but doesn't move you up

golfadj Posted January 6, 2014 #6 Share Posted January 6, 2014 Biggest wish would be cruise on Carnival allowing you loyalty credit on another of their brands but that doesnt seem like it will ever happen

If it were the case, I'd be Platinum right now! Seems Royal Caribbean does this...some crossover with Celebrity and Azamara. Hmmmmm....makes ya think, doesn't it. . Thinking we might be done with Carnival after our next one to much of the same and more and more disappointed with entertainment. will be doing our first Princess cruise later this year and would be nice not to start at the bottom. We've done a single, short, charter Princess cruise, back in Dec. 2009 on Caribbean Princess: lovely ship. Very impressed. Biggest ship we've been on, so far. Had to beg hard to get the pin we never got on board... - but they did eventually send it, just the other day...be sure to ask for yours. ;) . Still have a good time on Carnival but entertainment is becoming very disappointing and to much same old same old. As a result we are doing our first Princess cruise in a few months.
