CowPrincess Posted January 8, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2014 Looking at HAL's Zaandam cruise which would be in (or at) Tracy Arm on May 27 (IIRC). The itinerary says "scenic cruising Tracy Arm" for most of the day. There is no small boat excursion shown in the list of shorex. If there is too much ice in Tracy Arm, would the HAL ship go into Endicott Arm? Thanks in advance.

bonvoyagie Posted January 8, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 8, 2014 (edited) Yes, Endicott Arm is the alternate and if there was a small boat tour they would go there as well. HAL may have the excursion listed under Juneau and not Tracy Arm. Also not every ship has the small boat tour with it. Budget Queen Posted January 8, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 8, 2014 HAL is known to offer the Allen Marine add on shore excursion. You may not be looking in the right area or it may not be listed yet. Tracy Arm is accessible, it's up to the cpt. if he/she wants to offer the passengers a look at the glacier. Yes Endicott Arm/Dawes Glacier is the last minute substitute.
