The old pins, as we knew them.. have been discontinued.

There are VIFP Pins now, for Platinum Guests with the ship names. I miss the old plain and simple pins!!

I didnt know that you get a pin for each level - i never got my red level pin, I am becoming gold this next cruise, so i am gonna see if i can get both.

You will get a pin showing you are gold. You don't get a pin on red level. Platinum and Diamond members get the ship specific pin and year.

Do they still give out the whale's tail pins, with the ships name to past passengers?

The ship's gift shop sells the Whale Tail pins, and the pins are name specific to the ship they are being sold on. However, they are slightly larger than the old ones that you used to get free. Also, if you're missing a specific pin, you may be able to find it on Ebay.;)

Wow! You have a pin from the Titanic?!

You must be the oldest member on here!:D I'll bet you have some fascinating stories to tell.

Yeaahh they buried me in that now-famous Cemetery in Halifax, NS

but in commemoration of the 100th. Anniversary of the event that look my life

and that of over 1,500 others, I decided to take a little stroll around the town!

Got some funny looks from the local folks

but I reckon that wuz becoz of my period costume

rather than my somewhat-degraded personal appearance!

I wandered into the excellent, interesting local Maritime Museum on the Halifax waterfront

visited the Museum shop and found the two pins you see here.

The lady at the cash register looked at my money kinda funny

and said something about it being a tad out-dated

but she took it anyway, and now I have these two neat pins.

The other one's for CSS ARCADIA which is parked out front of the Museum.

If you're ever in Halifax, you really should visit this excellent Museum

I gotta go lie down now...I find I tire easily at my age -and condition.

See you again in another hundred years!

They give VIFP pins now on every ship except Sunshine.
- to those who are Gold status, not Red.

There are special Platinum pins too...that are given to the Plats.
