Taxi Fare in PPT

I read on another thread about XPF versus US dollars for taxi payment in Tahiti. When we arrive we will be going from airport to IC resort Tahiti. Does anyone know approximately how much the taxi fare will be. I want to make sure I bring (have) enough XPF.

Approximately 2,500 XPF....could be bit more after dark.

We made arrangements with IC to pick us up,when we arrive at the airport. They charge it to our hotel bill.

I'd bet the locals would love to hear you refer to their currency like this. I use local currency, wherever I travel. You can get XPF at the airport.

The fare from the airport to the IC is 1000 cpf or 10 $.

The fare from the airport to the port is 1900 cpf or 20 $.

From 8 pm till 6 pm the fare is higher, I think we paid about 2300 cpf from the port to the IC (last Tuesday).

With the service we used there is an additional charge for luggage. Do you have that added? With the luggage it was about 2800cpf

The IC charge to pick us up is around 3000cpf plus 100cpf per bag.
