Cigar King Posted August 26, 2014 #51 Share Posted August 26, 2014 Thanks. I'm assuming the half bath is the door to the right of the bed, and the full bath is the one kiddie corner from the foot?
EbayCruiser Posted August 26, 2014 #52 Share Posted August 26, 2014 (edited) Roger,Here are a couple of pictures of the spa bathroom. As a matter of fact, this is our cabin on Dec 1! Where is the shower? I think this is the shower right by the sink http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj215/suek46/SpaJS4_zps2edad585.jpg and the glass door leading into the room is the back of the shower - correct? And the glass wall in the room is the back of the shower to let in natural light? http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj215/suek46/SpaJS3_zps7d3e82fd.jpg Edited August 26, 2014 by EbayCruiser to add 2nd picture
EbayCruiser Posted August 26, 2014 #53 Share Posted August 26, 2014 And here is the back of shower leading out into the room. http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj215/suek46/SpaJS3_zps7d3e82fd.jpg I think I like these rooms!!
gaylemh Posted August 26, 2014 Author #54 Share Posted August 26, 2014 Thanks. I'm assuming the half bath is the door to the right of the bed, and the full bath is the one kiddie corner from the foot? I think it's just the opposite. The full bath is the one next to the bed. The large glass window is the light filtering shower and the door on the other side of the room is the half bath with the sink and toilet.
cruisenfever Posted August 26, 2014 #55 Share Posted August 26, 2014 I think it's just the opposite. The full bath is the one next to the bed. The large glass window is the light filtering shower and the door on the other side of the room is the half bath with the sink and toilet. This is the exact same type and color of glass that our bathroom had when we stayed at the Hilton in Sydney Australia this past April. It gives off a very soft glow into the room when the light in the bathroom is on, but you can not see through the glass, so privacy should not be an issue. Cigar King Posted August 26, 2014 #56 Share Posted August 26, 2014 I'm looking forward to trying it out. My only concern, really, is, will the teen club, which is right above us, make enough noise to bother us.
suzyluvs2cruise Posted August 27, 2014 #57 Share Posted August 27, 2014 Thanks for sharing. I'm a little disappointed that there isn't a full size sofa, and it looks like there is a door instead of a slider to the balcony. You're welcome. I thought I'd posted this pic of the balcony door but guess I didn't. Looks like a slider.....and that's good. :)
suzyluvs2cruise Posted August 27, 2014 #58 Share Posted August 27, 2014 Thanks for sharing. Looks nice. Not what I was expecting, but nice none the less. You're welcome. Curious what you were expecting? I'm hoping the closet is bigger than it looks. :)
suzyluvs2cruise Posted August 27, 2014 #59 Share Posted August 27, 2014 :) Lovely pics, we're in a spa junior suite on anthem so really looking forward to this. One thing that's interesting... there's a suite guest's book in the last pic, normally you only get those in a GS or above and they hold the suite guests menus and concierge details.... Good catch on the Suite Guest's Book. You might be right that's it's window dressing. We'll find out when we board on Nov 23.
suzyluvs2cruise Posted August 27, 2014 #60 Share Posted August 27, 2014 (edited) More Quantum pics.......like that there will be electrical outlets by the nightstands. Also can see a bit more of the bathroom and half bath in the Spa JS. http://www.usatoday.com/story/cruiselog/2014/08/26/quantum-of-the-seas-royal-caribbean/14623333/ Edited August 27, 2014 by suzyluvs2cruise
CruisinMommas Posted August 27, 2014 #61 Share Posted August 27, 2014 We have (non-suite) guests dining with us, and their reservations show Coastal Kitchen. I'm pretty sure the wife just added some more recently. Well I had no luck getting booked for myself and friends in the Coastal Kitchen way back in May, if I wanted something around 8:30 then they would try. They claimed they called me for early booking not. Booked JrSpa on opening day. I am I seeing six drawers for storage and one closet? Looks like the standard's have two closets. I just found this thread.

fecombs Posted August 27, 2014 #63 Share Posted August 27, 2014 Are there two toilets in the Spa JS? Is there a toilet in the bathroom with the tub and shower?
gaylemh Posted August 27, 2014 Author #64 Share Posted August 27, 2014 Being the SJS I only for 1 or 2, I really don't see a need for the half bath. I wish they kept the walk in closet instead.
Cigar King Posted August 27, 2014 #65 Share Posted August 27, 2014 You're welcome. Curious what you were expecting? I'm hoping the closet is bigger than it looks. :) I think I was expecting more of an open floor plan. I'm fine with this, though.

I think the half bath will come in handy at time, around dinner as an example. We usually have plenty of storage, so I think we're ok there. It will be interesting to try a new cabin configuration. Cigar King Posted August 27, 2014 #67 Share Posted August 27, 2014 Are there two toilets in the Spa JS? Is there a toilet in the bathroom with the tub and shower? I'm assuming they could not call it a full bath without having a toilet.
fecombs Posted August 27, 2014 #68 Share Posted August 27, 2014 Roger, I agree, but where would the toilet be? The description of the cabin states that it has "a spa inspired split bath with soaking tub and large separate shower with frosted glass that allows light from living area., toilet and second sink in separate half bath". Although in first pictures, it showed two toilets?
Cigar King Posted August 27, 2014 #69 Share Posted August 27, 2014 Hopefully opposite the sink? Frankly if the shower is in one room, and the toilet in another.
Cruise a holic Posted August 27, 2014 #70 Share Posted August 27, 2014 Looking forward to seeing them because we have one booked also! It will be kinda neat to have 2 BR's although there are only 2 of us. Can't wait for the first stateroom pictures!! Spa Jr. Suite has one Bedroom. Do you have a different suite? We have a grand suite and I wonder if it is the same as Oasis.
fecombs Posted August 27, 2014 #71 Share Posted August 27, 2014 I feel sure that he means two bath rooms!

I realize I never finished my thought here. I meant to say I would be disappointed if the configuration was not a traditional bath and half. Cruise a holic Posted August 27, 2014 #74 Share Posted August 27, 2014 Some of us find out on Nov 2 :D Lucky you! Sounds like the Disney type bathroom. One half-toilet and sink-other half sink and shower/bath. Nice because you have two doors so two people can use the bath and toilet at the same time
fecombs Posted August 27, 2014 #75 Share Posted August 27, 2014 No, I want a toilet in the same room as my tub and shower, not across the room!
