towel-animal Posted January 23, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2014 Just curious if anyone knew if the ship bars/restaurants can whip these up? They're my favorite drinks to order, but I know many bars don't have iced tea and lemonade.
vandals04 Posted January 23, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2014 I make my own in the buffet all the time.

artist47 Posted January 23, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 23, 2014 I can't answer your question specifically because I don't drink those drinks, and I have not been on NCL in a while...but I have to say this: I have been cruising for a long time (look at my signature!) on many different lines....There are some that I didn't even list, because it just got tiresome...in any case, what I wanted to say was: I can count on one hand the number of times I have heard the word "no" come out of a crew members mouth over that 20-30 year period on many different cruise lines. I doubt highly that you will have any trouble. Enjoy your cruise.
mrs.cool Posted January 23, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 23, 2014 Once, on a RCCL cruise, my brother in law asked for a brandy old-fashioned sweet. They looked at him like he had 3 heads! He got a Long Island Iced Tea instead. By THEIR choice, not his.
luddite Posted January 23, 2014 #6 Share Posted January 23, 2014 I know what an Arnold Palmer is. I'm assuming that a John Daly is anything with tequila?
Lulu_ladybug Posted June 17 #7 Share Posted June 17 Arnold Palmer is the non alcoholic beverage and a John Daly is the alcoholic version. The John Daly is usually made with Sweet tea vodka but can be made with regular vodka, lemonade and ice tea. It might have sweet and sour in it. The John Daly is my all time favorite drink.

There have been some old threads resurrected from the dead, but this is the first one I have ever seen that came back after ten years of dormancy. Definitely a score of 100 on the necromancer scale!
Epiro Funchal Posted June 18 #10 Share Posted June 18 The John Daly is my cruise drink of choice when I have my own vodka available to fix it with.

Rare cruiseny4life Posted June 19 #14 Share Posted June 19 Sweet Tea Vodka...it's been a long time for me, but oh that vodka is the best vodka in the world. It got me through a heatwave when we canoed the Green River in Canyonlands. I'm guessing NCL doesn't have this nectar of the g-ds? If they do, I'm drinking it all next cruise!
MagnoliaBlossom Posted June 20 #15 Share Posted June 20 I’ve been drinking “ Moscow” Arnold Palmers for years but didn’t know they have another name. Hmm, that sounded good, I hear my glass calling my name.
