Carnival Spirit - On Board Credit

Hello,

I have just booked our first ever cruise, Carnival Spirit in March 2013.

The (reputable) online TA that I booked through included $200 On Board Credit. How do I claim this once onboard, or is it automatically credited to my account?

Thank you

It will be automatically credited to your on board account and as you purchase goods, drinks, etc it will work its way off.

A good idea is to keep any copies of your booking that show you have an OBC due. Pop it in with your documentation wallet and take it with you , just in case it does not show up when you board.

No OBCs available at all for our "mini" cruise to Tassie in a couple of weeks.

Prices are good and so has been cabin availability.

Makes me wonder what else we will miss out on.

Perhaps no Theme Nights (I asked Carnival, but they don't know )

Perhaps the crew and entertainment staff will regard our cruise as a "break" and things will get somewhat slack.

I sincerely hope not.

Generally shorter cruises are more jam packed as they try to cram all the activities of a longer cruise into the shorter time frame. We've found we have been MUCH busier on shorter cruises trying to get to everything we wanted.

Shorter cruises don't have the formal nights.

Our 2 night sampler on Sun Princess did. We were told they wouldn't, so didn't pack anything formal. When we got on, it was in the Patter. We ended up going to the buffet that night cause we had no formal clothes.
