It would have to be miserable. :( That's another reason why one should purchase trip insurance. Once off the ship, you would need to go stay at a hotel before driving or boarding an airplane back home. I am sure many do get on their original flights, though. That's probably how most of this stuff spreads.:rolleyes: If you think being on a ship is being couped up, a plane is even more so and a good way to spread germs.

I have had norovirus on a plane and it was horrible. My husband and I had a late flight and arrived at the airport early. I began feeling bad, but did not know I had the norovirus until later. I was on the plane when I really got sick. It was a flight out of Denver and we hit turbulence. The stewardesses were sitting on the floor of the plane when I came out of the bathroom and they told me to sit on the floor. I was so sick I just lay on the floor. LOL I will never forget that flight.
