Curious what about 10 to 12 people how we could get from the port Everglades back to

As mentioned on this board almost daily, from port to airport in a taxi is about $15, for as many people as you can get in the cab. So, before tip, $7.50 per person for a couple.

 

A standard cab can take 4, although luggage can be an issues with 4. A SUV or van cab can take 4-8 with luggage. You might tip a little more if you have a ton of luggage, and the driver aggressively helps you.

If you can get 4 plus bags into each cab (no way if any pack like my wife :o), then 3 cabs at $15+tip each would do it -- so $45+tip works out to about $60, or $5 per person ($6 if there are only 10 of you). I defy you to find shuttle transport that cheap!

We hired John's Car Service to take 10 of us from Port Everglades to FLL for $55 (plus tip of course). We have 6 adults and 4 kids and tons of luggage so this option works out better for us than taking multiple taxis. Plus we need a carseat which he provided at no extra charge.

We haven't gone yet, are going in April. Sorry I should have made it clear that we are going in the future. He said it would be a private van just for us. Here is the website:
