Allure of the Seas 2015 summer in Europe!

Recommended Posts

I just received an email from the German branch of RCI announcing that Allure of the seas will be in Europe for the summer of 2015.

TA dates are:

April 19, 12 nights FLL to BCN

returning October 25, also 12 nights going from BCN to FLL

Sailings will be 7 nights, Sunday to Sunday out of BCN from

the 24th of May to the 18th of October (I guess the dry dock will be in between? It seems long, maybe some other repo cruises will be anounced)

Thank you for posting.

Bookings open February 18.

The 7 nights itinerary is:

Barcelona - Palma de Mallorca - Civitavecchia - Naples - Marseille.

(ports not in the right order)

With 4 ports it means 2 days at sea.

You can also embark the ship in Civitavecchia.

That is going to be very interesting with overlapping itineraries.

BTW we Germans obviously only can book the Barcelona departures whilst the Italians are stuck with the Civitavecchia departures.

C&A bookings open Feb 12th!

Hello fellow cruiser.

What's the restriction on German or Italian residents departing from either country.?

They are both EU members.

Puzzled.

On the multi embarkation port cruises in the past we have booked whichever port works best for us, as Germans. I assume the press releases were simply tailored to the audience, but that people will not really be restricted to one possibility.

Have you been told you could not embark in Civi?

I do not know whether I should like her deployment in Europe or not.

On the one hand, the prices of LIBERTY for 2014 could fall because the majority of people might wait until 2015 when ALLURE is doing that itinerary, and RCI also wants to sell the 2014 cruises on LIBERTY - we are also considering one.

But on the other hand, only ALLURE would be the destination.

I like the fact that LIBERTY provides a good mixture between ship = destination and Mediterranean/itinerary = destination.

Could it be that LIBERTY also returns to Europe in 2015??
